CHCCSL007: Support counselling client in decision-making processes
Welcome to expanding your decision making skills.
A number of the elements to this module you have already covered in Emerging Counsellor Lesson 3 and throughout the other modules, so this module is a refresher as well as honing in on problem solving developed in Effective Communication and The Authentic Communicator programs.
Learning Activities
Quiz Questions, Reflection and Case studies
It is required that you take 3 people through decision making process using 3 different approaches. The approaches used in this module will be:
- Method III from The Authentic Communicator and Effective Communication
- SMART approach
- Ethical Decision Making
- Rational Decision Making
These are written case studies and no further case studies are required. If you take a client through a decision making process, please include this in your write up.
